  2. Wee-Wullie ---- ¼ ton 88" G.S. (fully restored 2000-2001)
  3. Sawmill ---- ¼ ton 88" G.S.
  4. Dianne-May ---- ¾ ton 109" bloodbox (fully restored 2001-2002)
  5. Lady ---- ¼ ton 88" C.R.
  6. Gladys ---- ¾ ton 109" workshop truck
  7. and Dinty ---- ¼ ton 88" Gunbuggy

Number 6: GLADYS

The photos below show Dennis' RAEME Workshop truck. It needs a full restoration... it was located about 50km from where Dennis lives during 2003. It still had the original engine in it. What type of RAEME Workshop truck is Gladys? It turns out to be a Census 6039B according to the B.B.B.:

  • 'Electronic Equipment Repair Shop Truck Mtd ¾ Ton GS Telecommunications'.

Dennis has in storage for now but has started collecting parts needed to restore her to her former glory. For example, in the first part of 2004, Dennis located a factory-fresh Workshop canvas with extensions - it was rolled and stored somewhere: how new? Its like a time capsule. It had circular bits of canvas (from installing eyelets) and template chalkmarks still in place.

Gladys has now completed her transformation to a magnificant example of what can be done in a vehicle restoration and looks great with Dennis' workshop trailer in tow.
