Welcome to "Matthew's Shed".
Matthew R. is REMLR member 153, lives in Western Australia, and he has recently purchased a genuine ex-SASR LRPV. His Series 2A 109" Land-Rover GS has all the SASR in house fabrications and fittings that identifies it as one the last group of the 2A LRPVs (1980's period before the SASR changed up to the Perentie 6x6 LRPV). The camo paintjob is interesting to say the least and this unit has the PSP carrying brackets on the front brushguard. The steering and sump protection looks beefier than the earlier models (such as Brian's) and the side spare tyres are mounted beside the ROPS. Matthew says the previous owner made some modifications, including adding doors, which he wants to remove. However, his first job will be to get the LRPV into a reliable state as the engine is a bit temperamental at the moment. |
