Eden's Gallery

Thes are some photos of Eden before and just after her purchase by Richard. It was infact after agreeing to purchase Eden that it was discovered that it was a series 2 ambulance, not one of the more prolific Series 2A's. However there is plenty of work to keep Richard busy. There is a lot of surface rust on the vehicles chassis, with only the end of one rail needing any welding repairs. The footwells have suffered from the ravages of time and both have rust. The left hand side footwell will have to be replaced as a while as the holes are too big. The clutch master cylinder is dead, although the engine supposedly runs, although has yet to be tested. Body wise there is some damage to the rear LHS of the body, and some lichen growing on the roof, but otherwise in reasonably good condition.

On the plus side, almost all of the interior fittings appear to be in place, as with the exterior fittings. 4 stretchers have already been sourced, as has a read beacon light for the roof, abeit a later model one. The document box from between the seats is missing, however Richard thinks he may have a lead on one. One of the few items missing from the inside of the vehicles is the 4 patient fans. A later type has been put in place of one, but the other 3 are missing. The capstan winch is also missing.
