Don't miss the parts page.

Kevin - aka Ho Chi Hicks aka Uncle Ho - lives near Bribie Island and he is an enthusiast of military Land-Rovers as well as authentic restorations. Kevin's 109" GS is called Aggie and is well known in the area as a "mobile memorial" to Australia's men and women who served in South Vietnam. Kevin and Sue are ex- members of the noew defunct QMVG and have attended parades, air shows and club events around south east Queensland for years in Aggie, usually with the Aust. No 5 trailer hooked up behind.
Kevin worked at the Land-Rover factory (in the Leyland period) in Sydney and on a spare parts counter at a Land-Rover dealer so he knows a heap about Land-Rovers: Aggie has been kept on the road and maintained in a very original condition for years and years. As far as mechanical maintenance problems go, Kevin has "Been there, done that".

Update: We have now got some old pics of Aggie's restoration work (firewall repairs) and a pic of her getting back on the road again (with trailer), AND some nice new pics of Aggie detailed up and in 'full dress uniform' (sporting new ARN plates)...

Kevin typed up some Land-Rover parts details from some 'special' part books and they are listed on their own page...

asio mugshot uncle ho
Declassified ASIO report: "Uncle Ho may have escaped to Australia after the Vietnam War as one of the "boat people". Leaky boat found beached at night off Bribie Is. 1/4/78."

Uncle Ho knows a little ditty sung to the tune "Nick Nack Paddywack, Give A Dog a Bone"... and since Aggie doesn't have a radio he sometimes sings a solo..
