These were the 1960-61 ADE Trials vehicles (ref ex-ADE J. Bamford pics website). One on the left has no winch, but has air inlet/vent above windscreen and swing rear doors. Identified as ARN 106-952 in ADE Trials pics (eng #151904354 ch#153900182 del. 1959, disposal 16.01.78). Other one on the right has capstan winch, but no inlet/vent above windscreen and an 'Indian' canvas roll up rear door. Identified as ARN 106-947 in ADE Trials pics (eng #151904109 chassis #153900183 del. 1959, disposal 09.01.81). No beacons on either Ambulance. |
