In the early 1960's, Wormald Australia was contracted by the army to build a prototype Fire Tender based on the 3/4 Ton land rover. Subsiquently Alexander Perrie & Co were contracted to build the production vehicles. Alexander Perrie & Co build approximately 30 Fire tenders for the Army and the photographs below show the vehicles in various stages of production. |
