Advertising refering to Australian Military Land-Rovers
Over the decades Land-Rover's marketing departments around the world have emphasized the military role of Land-Rovers to build up a tough and "legendary" reputation. Nearly all the Land-Rover adverts are aimed at influencing the bulk of 4x4 vehicle buyers, labelled "recreational users", using imagery from the "rural and military users", i.e., the original or core Land-Rover users for which the Land-Rover was designed. Are they "over the top"? Maybe...
