One of the more unusual land rover variants is the Wrecker variant which was converted by RAEME. This example is a Series 2 and resides in the RACT museum at Bandiana. The registration number of 108-038 which it currently wears is thought to be the correct number. More photos of Wrecker conversions can be found in the Roseworthy collection. This vehicle is actually the original Wrecker conversion and was used by 6 Tropical Trials Evaluation unit back in 1964 You can also see photos of this vehicle when it was brand new on this page. |
