The Registry Of Ex-Military Land-Rovers Au, NZ, etc Land-Rover Late Series 2A ¾ Ton General Service

Only a few late Series 2A ¾ ton models were purchased by the Australian Army. The Series 2A brushguard and tac fittings were modified to meet the new headlight arrangement etc. This is Ken G's (REMLR member 125) unit pictured beside Norma Jean. Non-1970's items are the free-wheeling-hubs, the exterior rear mirror, and the vinyl rear windows on the canvas top.

The photo below left is from South Australia and shows Scott C's (mem 110) late 2A 109 GS (without canvas top, doors, and brushguard) on a trailer at one stage with another 2A 109 GS up front. It is wearing ARN "170-466" plates. Note the BWC position, etc.

The photo below right is from a farm in Victoria.
